YOUR DATA
PRIVACY
A clear summary of what this website stores and what the optional analytics collect.
Optional analytics
Analytics are off until you choose “Allow analytics” in the privacy notice, and you can change your mind at any time with the buttons below. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is sent, whatever you chose.
After you allow it, this site records the pages you open, how long you stay and how far you scroll, where you click (the position and the name of the button or link, never what you type), the site or link that brought you here, your browser, device type, screen size, language and time zone, an approximate location (country and city) and short reports when part of a page fails to load.
Your IP address is shortened before it is stored: the last part is removed (for example 85.191.12.0), so it points to a whole neighbourhood of addresses, not to you. A random ID that lives only in this browser tab links the pages of one visit; it is not a cookie and is gone when you close the tab. No tracking cookies are used and nothing is used for ads or shared with anyone.
Only the site admins can see this information. It is kept for the site statistics until the admins delete it. The web host may separately keep its standard security and access logs under its own policies.
Browser storage and live services
Favorites, the players you follow, display preferences, and personal server/player history are saved in local storage on this device. Local history is not uploaded by this website. The Stats page's shared records and Best time to play heatmap instead use the host's public server collector.
Live server data and news are requested from the website’s PHP endpoints, which relay public W3D Hub feeds. YouTube and other external links are opened only when you choose them; those services have their own privacy policies.
Shared public server statistics
A background collector reads the public W3D server listing every minute independently of website visits. It stores hourly server and per-game population aggregates, map round observations, and public in-game nicknames with estimated observed playtime for up to 30 days. These shared records, including the Best time to play heatmap, appear on the Stats page and are not optional visitor analytics. Per-game heatmap history begins when the updated collector starts recording it; older samples cannot be reconstructed by game.
Only nicknames published in server rosters are collected, not player IP addresses or authenticated account identifiers. A nickname may be used by more than one person. This collector does not upload your browser's local history, favorites, or the players you follow. Data is stored privately on the website host; the public statistics endpoint exposes the summarized records.
